Could you be an Entrepreneur??

So I have been doing a module of late that’s called Getting into Enterprise.  I am not going to lie I thought I would hate this module for a business student I imagine that sounds like a complete contradiction in terms!  Welcome to my world J

However this module has sparked a side to me that I haven’t known was there!  As part of our group work we have to come up with a business idea to pitch to the Scottish enterprise a seriously daunting situation.  However we have met this challenge found a business idea and I have enjoyed trying to conjure up the support from other businesses we would need to make this work.  I can’t say too much as my group and I have been thinking it could be a legitimate business plan.  Wait and see we will get shot down in ball of flames, maybe I will record it for a laugh!

However, it did get me to thinking, if you did have an idea what could you do about it?

I don’t know about you but I differently agree that I would think 100 times better surrounded by that view.  Either that or get really drunk go naked swimming and probably get asked to leave on the first day.  Other people however would get the opportunity to be mentored by Richard Branson himself, they would meet a group of their business peers and get to go over ideas.

Scotland actually has a few great schemes to get you into, the Princess Trust for example helps young business minded people to create opportunities for funding.  There are great Scottish Government websites to give info about loans, grants, crowd-funding and anything else you can imagine needing help with.

I will leave you on this note as I fill out my application form to get to Nectar Island, wonder if I could swim…….
